Andromeda in Different Wavelengths
Our human eyes are only able to capture a very small portion of the electromagnetic spectrum, so scientists have needed to invent ways to gather information on the wavelengths that we can’t detect and then convert that information into something that makes sense. These images show Andromeda Galaxy in different wavelengths, which each provide different data sets regarding the structure, composition, temperature, or activity level of the galaxy.
